About the Role
CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer III to join their Asset Management team, supporting critical manufacturing and advanced technology facilities across Ireland—either from Carlow or remotely. This position focuses on ensuring asset reliability and optimal operational outcomes through a blend of technical proficiency, analytical skills, and adherence to field standards.
Responsibilities
- Autonomously execute technical analyses and documentation tasks associated with asset data, equipment structure, and maintenance strategy development.
- Create and manage asset records, data models, and technical reports, providing essential system data under the direction of senior engineers or technical leaders.
- Detect and correct inconsistencies or gaps in data, address documentation shortcomings, and troubleshoot system issues using established approaches and industry best practices.
- Oversee certain project milestones, resolving any asset data or system issues with potential impacts on maintenance scheduling or operational productivity.
- Manage considerable components of asset management projects with guidance from senior team members, including conducting onsite assessments, confirming data integrity, and making system updates as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
- At least three years of relevant professional engineering experience.
- Preferably holds Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) credentials.
- Proven theoretical and applied engineering expertise within the related discipline.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance and control (QA/QC) practices as well as applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Experienced in engineering and technical software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, alongside proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and spoken communication as well as collaboration skills.
- Prior involvement with professional engineering organizations is an advantage.
