Programme Manager

About the Role

As Programme Manager, you will spearhead and execute community initiatives aimed at empowering individuals to address and embrace the often unspoken subjects of death, dying, and grief. This vital role sits at the core of education, healthcare, and community engagement, requiring both strategic planning for program development and direct facilitation of meaningful participant dialogues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead facilitation of programs and events across various community contexts.
• Manage program rollout ensuring quality and consistency throughout.
• Recruit, train, and mentor facilitators to confidently and safely deliver sessions.
• Build and nurture communities that amplify and sustain program impact.
• Establish and apply evaluation frameworks, reporting and communicating program social outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in social sciences, public health, community development, social work, counseling, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of five years' experience in program management, training, or community education, ideally in fields like palliative care, hospice, social work, counseling or community health.
• Proven experience facilitating workshops or group discussions, particularly on emotionally sensitive topics.
• Demonstrated competency in managing structured programs with a focus on fidelity and consistent delivery.
• Genuine passion for end-of-life education and building community awareness and engagement.
