Job Overview
This position serves as a Lean Business Partner managing Lean Transformation programs for a business unit, a global process owner, a region, and subsidiary. The role functions as a coach, mentor, problem solver, and change management expert fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and advocate lean methodologies throughout the organization, supporting continuous improvement culture adoption.
- Act as Transition Lean Business Partner for key portfolio stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation and management of the Lean Academy within the Qatar Airways Group.
- Continuously plan, monitor, analyze, and assess Lean initiatives across the organization.
- Provide operational support in developing and executing lean projects in the assigned portfolio.
- Ensure effective Lean Academy operations by supervising training delivery and ensuring participants’ capability growth.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify lean opportunities and initiatives through strong partnerships.
- Guide team members in process mapping, design, and efficient project implementation across the Group.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven strategic and practical leadership in Lean and continuous improvement cultures.
- Experience working at all organizational levels within continuous improvement environments.
- Demonstrated successful delivery of projects yielding visible benefits, possibly across multiple industries.
- Capability to lead Lean training sessions up to Black Belt level.
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
- Strong managerial qualities including delegation, workflow management, mentoring, coaching, and fostering teamwork.
