About Ecolab and the Role
Ecolab is a globally respected company dedicated to helping businesses maintain cleaner, safer, and healthier environments. We are seeking two dependable and safety-conscious Production Operators to join our manufacturing team in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.
This full-time position offers a stable work schedule with consistent hours and a supportive team environment. It provides a valuable opportunity to grow your manufacturing and production skills while contributing to a company that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (early finish)
Job Responsibilities
- Operate filling and weighing machinery accurately and safely
- Pack products into designated containers ensuring precise weight verification
- Label finished goods appropriately for dispatch
- Complete required production documentation and maintain records
- Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks and participate in 5S workplace organization activities
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness throughout the workspace
- Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to achieve operational goals
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or processing environments
- Possession of a valid forklift license
- Strong focus on detail and commitment to maintaining quality
- Ability to adhere to instructions and safe work procedures
- Dependable attendance and a cooperative, team-focused mindset
- Basic computer literacy with confidence in using production systems or human-machine interfaces (HMIs)
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to duties
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating filling, packing, or weighing equipment
- Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) processes
- Knowledge of 5S methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
