Production Executive

Job Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Production Executive to lead manufacturing operations for our range of pillows, comforters, and textile home furnishing products. This role involves managing daily production floor activities to achieve target outputs, uphold stringent quality benchmarks, and optimize use of available resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the cutting, stitching, filling, and packing processes for bedding and home textile products.
• Implement daily and weekly production plans to ensure prompt fulfillment of orders.
• Supervise quality control measures to verify product adherence to defined specifications such as dimensions, stitching integrity, and filling weights.
• Monitor consumption of raw materials including fabrics, fiber fills, and threads, aiming to reduce material waste.
• Distribute tasks among floor workers, tailors, and packing personnel to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure timely servicing of stitching and fiber-opening equipment.
• Maintain detailed daily records concerning production quantity, reject rates, and labor hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or Production Management.
• Possesses between 2 and 5 years experience in production within home textiles, bedding, or garment manufacturing sectors.
• Thorough knowledge of fabric types, quilting methods, fiber-filling techniques, and industrial sewing technology.
• Demonstrates leadership capabilities with strong communication and problem-solving aptitudes.
• Familiarity with MS Excel for managing production data and reports.
