About the Role
Samaritan's Purse is seeking a dedicated Procurement Coordinator to support all programs within the Jamaica country office. This role is essential for managing procurement activities efficiently and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to field operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a personal and active Christian faith while serving as a witness for Jesus Christ.
- Manage procurement operations including record-keeping, updating vendor lists, and advising project staff.
- Support and supervise distribution efforts in the field in coordination with Program Managers.
- Process purchase requests, solicit vendor quotations, prepare quote analyses, approvals, purchase orders, goods received notes, and handle payments.
- Verify procurement documentation for accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Ensure adherence to Samaritan's Purse procurement policies and standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate timely transportation and delivery of procured items to field locations.
- Coordinate prompt payments to suppliers.
- Keep procurement tracking systems updated and maintain procurement documentation digitally.
- Participate in procurement planning, supplier identification, and purchasing of locally available materials.
- Keep precise records of procurements, inventory, receipts, inspections, and related transportation documentation.
- Inspect received goods for completeness, quality, and correct coding to finalize the Goods Received Note.
- Maintain updated purchase request trackers, supplier databases, and price catalogs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams.
- Experience in medical logistics is an advantage.
- Completion of 12 credit hours in college-level Biblical Studies is required; if not already completed, will be fulfilled upon employment.

- Location: Mandeville, Jamaica.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Travel: Approximately 30 days per year involving domestic and international trips; required travel documents and vaccinations apply.
