This position is within Amazon's Fulfillment Center (FC) operations, where processes are predominantly manual and involve managing many associates to ensure timely and high-quality order fulfillment. The Process Assistant plays a crucial role in mentoring and guiding associates to consistently meet customer expectations by adhering to standard work procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily shift operations effectively.
- Administrate associate management including job assignments.
- Allocate tasks to associates to optimize workflow.
- Mentor and monitor associates on productivity, quality, and safety compliance.
- Oversee status of counts and troubleshoot issues in operational queues.
- Take ownership of shift quality and develop related action plans.
- Design and implement training and development programs for associates.
- Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits at assigned workstations to maintain organized and safe operations.
- Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
Preferred Skills
- At least one year of practical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
