About the Role
At ASB, our mission is to enhance outcomes for customers, employees, and the communities we serve. As part of our ongoing efforts to modernize and strengthen enterprise change delivery, we are seeking an experienced Planning & Performance Lead. This senior position is pivotal in harmonizing strategy, delivery, and enterprise alignment to ensure faster, better, and safer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide enterprise-level planning and manage dependency orchestration to ensure priorities are effectively sequenced and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop and instill planning and performance methodologies aligned with the ASB Delivery Framework, ensuring clear alignment from strategy to execution.
- Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to address cross-portfolio dependencies, constraints, and risks, minimizing delivery obstacles and boosting confidence.
- Deliver transparent performance reporting with insights on progress, risks, capacity, and outcomes to aid prompt, informed decision-making.
- Work closely with Tribes, Platforms, Delivery Chapter, and leadership to guarantee grounded, feasible, and capacity-aware plans.
- Represent and facilitate enterprise-level forums with authority, managing complex discussions, trade-offs, and alignment among senior leaders.
- Support alignment among funding, demand, and capacity to facilitate disciplined investments and precise forecasting.
- Elevate the enterprise planning capabilities through coaching, role modeling, continuous enhancements to tools, and improved working methods.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience operating within complex, interdependent organizational environments.
- Expertise in programme, portfolio, and enterprise delivery environments.
- Strong skills in enterprise planning, integrated roadmap creation, and resolving cross-portfolio dependencies.
- Thorough understanding of delivery disciplines facilitating effective collaboration with delivery leaders and teams.
- Proven effectiveness in engaging and influencing senior leadership to drive alignment, decision-making, and momentum.
- Experience managing financials, capacity, and risks within large and complex organizations.
- A collaborative and enterprise-focused mindset, with the initiative to identify issues early and promote improved decision processes.
