The GTZ Friedrichskoog is an outpatient spa and wellness center located in the North Sea resort of Friedrichskoog on the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein. We offer our patients and guests a wide range of physiotherapy services focusing on rehabilitation, prevention, and wellness, leveraging the healing power of the sea. Our specialization includes treatments addressing the musculoskeletal system and respiratory conditions. The facility features a seawater thermal bath, steam bath, fitness and cosmetic areas, providing a comprehensive health and wellness experience.

Responsibilities

• After an initial onboarding period, you will independently manage patient and client care within our team.
• Plan and conduct individual and group therapies based on medical diagnoses and personal assessment.
• Deliver aqua fitness and therapeutic exercises in a 32°C warm movement pool, which are essential parts of our program.
• Provide physiotherapy using specialized equipment, alongside treatments such as respiratory therapy, massages, electrotherapy, and heat or hydrotherapy applications.
• If certified, implement Bobath therapy for both adults and children to offer specialized care.

Candidate Profile

• Completed and officially recognized physiotherapy training in Germany.
• Preferably, possess several years of professional experience along with additional qualifications in manual lymph drainage, manual therapy, or Bobath therapy.
• Motivated newcomers are also welcome to apply.
• Therapist couples are encouraged to apply; synchronized work schedules and vacations are possible.
• The organization supports further professional development and certification aligned with your skills and interests, including coverage of related costs.
• Proficient in German at a minimum B2 language level.
