Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Patient Engagement Assistant to join our UK Clinic team on a fixed-term contract of six months. This role centers on making outbound calls to patients who have registered but not completed essential steps in their treatment journey. You will support patients by addressing their questions, helping them navigate the process, and overcoming any obstacles they face.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound phone calls to patients who have signed up but have yet to complete onboarding or treatment steps.
- Engage patients warmly and professionally to encourage continuation of their journey.
- Document common reasons why patients discontinue or pause their treatment path.
- Respond to basic patient inquiries and guide them on next steps.
- Escalate clinical or complex questions to the appropriate clinical or support teams.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all patient interactions using company systems.
- Assist with patient communication campaigns and follow-up efforts.
- Collaborate closely with Patient Support and Clinical teams to enhance patient engagement and conversion.
- Provide feedback to help improve patient experience and internal procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in customer service, administration, call centers, patient support, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain strong interpersonal connections.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfort with technology and new software systems.
- A proactive attitude with ownership of outcomes.
- Ability to remain motivated and professional in a high-volume outreach environment, maintaining enthusiasm in all interactions.
