Position Overview

Royal York Property Management, a leading property management firm in Canada, seeks dependable and meticulous Cleaners to support its expanding team. The role encompasses various cleaning tasks including move-in and move-out cleans, vacant unit turnovers, and routine housekeeping at occupied residences. Cleaners operate autonomously, traveling between appointments and adhering to strict company cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning for residential move-ins and move-outs.
• Conduct detailed turnover cleaning for empty apartments and homes.
• Provide ongoing housekeeping services in occupied dwellings as needed.
• Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, and common surfaces.
• Handle meticulous cleaning tasks such as baseboards, interior cabinets, and appliance exteriors/interiors.
• Utilize a mobile application for task management: receiving assignments, reading guidelines, GPS navigation, uploading photos, and updating job status.
• Self-inspect completed work to guarantee compliance with company quality standards.
• Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or areas unsuitable for cleaning.
• Travel independently between jobs using personal vehicle.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of two years experience in professional cleaning roles.
• Comfortable executing both extensive turnover cleans and regular housekeeping duties.
• Possess a reliable personal vehicle to transport self and cleaning equipment.
• Own necessary cleaning supplies and tools suitable for residential property service.
• Have a compatible smartphone capable of running work-related mobile applications, including GPS, photo capture, instructions reading, and status updates.
• Skilled in cleaning all household surfaces, fixtures, and appliances thoroughly.
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and communicate basic English.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with GPS-verified arrival timings.
