About Bridgit
Bridgit is a non-bank lender focused on changing how Australians fund property purchases and transitions. Its digital application process, quick approvals, and flexible lending options are designed to make the experience smoother and less stressful.
Now in its fifth year, Bridgit has expanded rapidly. It has accredited more than three quarters of Australia’s broker network and introduced white-label offerings with major aggregators including Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group. The business has also earned recognition such as Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, the 2025 Finder People’s Choice Award for Lending Innovation, finalist status for Excellence in Lending (Business & Consumer) at the 2025 Finnies, a place in Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50 2025, and inclusion in LinkedIn’s top 20 Start Ups in Australia 2025.

- Provide administrative help on litigation-related matters, including coordination of matter administration and communication with external legal counsel.
- Carry out preliminary legal or regulatory research when requested by Legal Counsel.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Legal and Finance teams.
- Act as the main contact point for vendors and external service providers, responding to emails and progressing actions promptly.
- Support collaboration across departments by liaising with teams such as HR, Sales, Tech, Product, and Marketing.
What the company is looking for
- At least 4 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Team Assistant role, ideally in a fiduciary or corporate support environment and preferably assisting legal, finance, HR, or operations teams.
- Strong confidence using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and e-signature platforms such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management abilities, especially when balancing work across two departments.
- A strong sense of integrity and the ability to protect sensitive legal, financial, and employee information.
- Clear, polished written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities without close supervision.
