Role Summary

The Odoo Developer position involves full-time, on-site engagement in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the customization, development, and upkeep of Odoo modules that underpin ALMENHAZ’s operational and e-commerce workflows. Key duties involve analyzing business needs, designing technical solutions within the Odoo framework, and deploying new features for inventory, sales, procurement, and CRM management. The developer will also integrate Odoo with external systems, enhance system performance, and resolve issues to maintain stability and efficiency. Close collaboration with internal teams is essential for process optimization, producing technical documentation, delivering user training, and providing support.

Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience in back-end web development, particularly building and maintaining server-side applications and APIs.
• Proficient in full software development lifecycle activities: design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Strong programming expertise, especially in object-oriented languages such as Python (for Odoo development), with additional familiarity in Java or C# beneficial.
• Hands-on experience creating and customizing Odoo modules, including ORM, workflow management, security settings, and QWeb template handling.
• Knowledge of relational database systems like PostgreSQL, version control tools such as Git, and Linux deployment environments.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication abilities to collaborate on-site with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Preferred education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or inventory-intensive environments is advantageous.
