Night Porter

Role Overview

Join Dalata Hotel Group as a Night Porter and become an integral part of a warm and welcoming team. Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently and professionally manage guest check-ins and check-outs while providing assistance with luggage, porterage, room service, and general guest inquiries.
• Clean and uphold high standards of all designated public and back-of-house areas, including lobby, back office, stairways, public restrooms, restaurant and bar floors, staff zones, and meeting room floors.
• Complete nightly duties according to the Night Porter checklist and any additional tasks assigned by the Manager on Duty, such as preparing function rooms, setting up breakfast areas, supporting bar service, and handling various operational responsibilities to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Maintain the hotel's front entrance and exterior grounds to a high level by emptying bins, removing litter, and ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Possess full knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency protocols to guarantee the protection and security of guests, visitors, and staff at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous nighttime experience in a 3 or 4-star hotel setting is essential.
• Proficient spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to handle a busy work environment effectively.
• Strong team player mentality and cooperative attitude.
• Familiarity with Opera or Micros hotel management systems is preferred but not mandatory.
