Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or an equivalent credential.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers and switches.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with fault diagnosis across various management platforms such as HP Openview, Netscout, and Cisco Works.
  • Proficiency operating network automation and orchestration tools like HP Network Automation or equivalents.
  • Experience managing network monitoring and event management systems, ideally CA Spectrum, HP Openview, and Splunk.
  • Knowledgeable in IP Differentiated Services QoS in network environments.
  • In-depth familiarity with OSPF and BGP protocols, including multi-area architectures, BGP confederations, and route reflectors.
  • Working knowledge of EIGRP and IS-IS protocols.
  • Capability to implement and manage LAN technologies such as HSRP, STP, VLANs, DHCP Snooping, ARP Inspection, and Port Security.
  • Experience with network authentication and authorization technologies including Secure ACS 5.x, 802.1x, MACSEC, RADIUS, and TACACS+.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration in multinational, multidisciplinary teams.
