MR/HR Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking reliable MR/HR Truck Drivers to join CHILL, Australia's leading temperature-controlled logistics company. This role involves managing refrigeration runs both locally and regionally, ensuring every delivery meets CHILL's high standards of safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly pay of $35.40 plus superannuation and penalty rates
• Opportunities available for both permanent and casual roles
• Standard 40-hour work weeks with home return daily
• Flexible shifts with early starts from 4:00 AM or 5:30 AM
• Possibility of overtime hours

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-drop refrigerated deliveries within metropolitan and regional areas
• Operate HR vehicles equipped with tailgate loaders safely and effectively
• Perform thorough pre-start vehicle inspections every time
• Manage delivery documentation including proof of delivery photos and temperature records
• Utilize delivery technology and mobile applications for route navigation and run management
• Maintain professional representation of CHILL while engaging with customers

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a valid HR driving licence
• Proven safe driving record and a professional mindset
• Experience in transportation, delivery, or logistics sectors
• Proficiency with mobile apps and digital technologies for deliveries
• Excellent communication skills with strong customer service focus
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
• Preferred: experience with refrigerated transport, cold chain compliance, tailgate loaders, or forklift operation

Pre-employment Requirements

• Completion of a National Police Check
• Successful passing of a driver medical clearance
