Mat Roller

Job Overview

This role involves processing clean mats by rolling and preparing them for load building and customer delivery. The position may also handle additional products such as mops, shop towels, fender covers, and Facility Services items. The Mat Roller must maintain efficiency and safety standards, keep the workspace tidy, and operate forklifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Transfer carts filled with clean mats to the mat rolling zone.
• Unload and inspect mats for quality before rolling.
• Sort mats and load them into designated carts or storage areas, preparing loads for shipment.
• Handle other related products including mops, shop towels, fender covers, and facility service items for loading and storage.
• Move carts and bins, whether loaded or empty, within the production area.
• Operate forklifts when required.
• Consistently meet designated efficiency and safety goals.
• Understand and follow supervisor instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Ability to accurately recognize color and size while counting and sorting.
• Inspect and evaluate products adhering to quality standards.
• Capable of heavy physical work including standing, walking, lifting up to 60 lbs, stooping, reaching overhead, grasping, pushing, and pulling throughout the entire shift.
• Work environment includes industrial laundry production areas with exposure to machinery, varying temperatures, odors, humidity, lint, and dust.
• No travel required.
• No formal education required.
