Marketing Associate

Role overview

A global asset management firm is looking for a German-speaking marketing professional to support and deliver marketing activity across the DACH region. The position is part of the EMEA channel marketing team and is focused on building demand, strengthening brand visibility, and partnering closely with sales, global marketing, product, and regional distribution teams to support business growth. The employer is also open to relocating a German speaker to London.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape and execute the integrated channel marketing approach for the DACH market.
• Adapt global campaigns and marketing materials so they feel relevant and effective for the region.
• Coordinate and quality-check financial content for different DACH investor audiences, keeping messaging precise and easy to understand.
• Use strong German proofreading and editing skills across all marketing output, including translation support where needed.
• Keep digital marketing channels running smoothly, including webpages, email campaigns, social content, PDF materials, and HTML links.
• Work with agencies, distributors, and other partners to develop joint marketing programmes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to make sure marketing activity supports pipeline creation and revenue targets.
• Review campaign results and convert performance insights into practical improvements.
• Organise and deliver partner-facing events and industry events throughout the region.
• Represent the DACH market in internal sales and marketing discussions, sharing market knowledge and effective practices.

Requirements

• Background in marketing within financial services, with asset management experience preferred.
• Native-level German and strong professional English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent German writing, editing, and audience-aware content adaptation skills.
• Demonstrated success in running channel marketing activity for the DACH region.
• Good understanding of partner-led ecosystems and indirect sales models.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience using marketing automation and CRM systems such as Marketo and Salesforce.
• A proactive, cooperative team-oriented approach.
• Useful to have: hands-on experience updating websites, email campaigns, and marketing platforms.
• Useful to have: experience handling marketing budgets and associated processes.
