Role Overview

We are seeking a Managing Consultant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will bring expert knowledge in energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, and sustainability. This role involves conducting detailed research, executing data analysis, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and producing recommendations that support energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable initiatives. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Conduct research and data analytics to support energy and sustainability projects.
• Engage with clients and various stakeholders to gather project requirements and present findings.
• Develop technical materials and offer actionable recommendations for efficiency and renewable energy programs.
• Leverage advanced quantitative and programming skills including Python, R, or similar languages.
• Apply statistical methodologies such as regression analysis and statistical sampling.
• Utilize expertise in energy audits, measurement and verification for commercial buildings, and deep understanding of building energy systems.
• Experience working with distributed energy resources, electric vehicle integration, and energy storage technologies.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in utility programs and organizations within the Northwest region.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, paired with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Minimum of ten years professional experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, statistics, market research, or a related scientific discipline.

Additional Information

Applicants must be U.S. Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizens eligible to work legally in the United States. Occasional travel within and outside the state may be necessary based on project requirements.

Salary Range: $130,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and geographic location.

Possible Work Locations: Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Boulder, CO; Madison, WI; or Toms River, NJ, though other locations may be considered. The position offers a hybrid work model.
