Manager HR Operational Excellence & Performance (m/w/d)

About the Role

Sana HR Solutions GmbH seeks a Manager for HR Operational Excellence & Performance to support digital HR product development and process modernization across Sana Kliniken, a top integrated healthcare provider in Germany. You will be pivotal in enhancing the HR teams’ capabilities with a focus on payroll, personnel workflows, recruiting, and staffing services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance the KPI and performance management frameworks to promote transparency through meaningful metrics that assist leadership in operational decisions.
• Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to provide a solid foundation for strategic workforce planning.
• Identify and implement efficiency and quality improvements within HR processes, with an emphasis on payroll functions.
• Evaluate transformation, automation, and digitalization initiatives for their economic impact and develop actionable recommendations.
• Establish and continuously enhance quality management systems including an effective internal control regime, and serve as the central contact point for audits.
• Lead cross-departmental operational excellence projects, drive change management efforts, and foster ongoing process optimization.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive professional experience in performance management, operational excellence, shared services, or quality management, equipped with strong capabilities in metrics, process management, and organizational development.
• Proven expertise in designing KPI systems and management dashboards to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Strong analytical aptitude, comfortable interpreting data, and translating findings into improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma is preferred along with familiarity using BI tools and HR systems such as Oracle HCM or SAP HCM.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
