Key Responsibilities

• Support maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on mechanical and electrical components of baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges, following electrical diagrams, operational manuals, and manufacturer's standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, particularly Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Provide assistance during service call executions.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and responsibly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years' experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance roles.
• Continuous professional development through relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical systems from accredited institutions or original equipment manufacturers.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Experience working with operational and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities based on personnel and system demands.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
• Proactive approach with a commitment to personal growth and organizational contribution.
• Capability to operate independently.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• This is a full-time role operating 24/7 across three shifts, including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays; shift assignments include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or mid-shift with flexibility required.
• Work locations include restricted baggage handling zones, repair facilities, and airfield environments.
• Maintaining tight turnaround times is crucial to ensure flight schedules are met.
• The role demands frequent bending, stooping, climbing ladders and scaffolds, and extensive use of hands and arms.
• The position involves constant physical activity such as standing, walking, crouching, crawling, and climbing through the workday.
• Lifting and moving items heavier than 50 pounds regularly, including parts and tools over extended durations.
• Handling mechanical parts often involving grease and performing duties in sometimes awkward positions.
• Exposure to vibrations and mechanical systems of baggage handling equipment.
• Work on passenger boarding bridges may expose technicians to outdoor weather conditions.
