About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner Scheduler to play a pivotal role in the success of our Hastings site. This position offers the chance to contribute significantly to maintenance planning and budget management within a collaborative team environment that fosters professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute overhaul work plans, coordinating closely with engineering scheduling to align with outage periods and complete overhauls effectively.
- Establish, monitor, and enhance preventive maintenance programs while managing corrective maintenance actions as needed.
- Lead the collection and analysis of asset performance data and KPIs to identify issues and support reliability and continuous improvement efforts.
- Embed management system requirements into engineering processes and daily operational practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing line efficiency in partnership with operational teams.
- Perform failure and downtime analysis, implementing remedial steps to minimize repeat breakdowns and increase equipment availability.
- Oversee maintenance budget accountability including cost estimates, timeline extensions, and resource allocation in collaboration with maintenance and production personnel.
- Manage forecasting, administration, and governance of Work Order Management systems and annual maintenance planning activities, while engaging stakeholders and organizing meetings.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication skills enabling effective interaction across production, engineering, and management teams.
- Proven talent for prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience managing budgets and supporting cost control efforts.
- Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting maintenance and asset data, preparing succinct reports, and contributing to preventive maintenance development.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, reporting, and tracking functions.
- Experience with CMMS tools, preferably Mainpac, covering work order processing and maintenance scheduling.
- Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on maintenance experience, along with full authorization to work in New Zealand.
