About the Role

The Maintenance Planner position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Maintenance Department reporting to the Maintenance Manager, is a full-time role dedicated to overseeing and enhancing the maintenance planning process at the site. The role ensures that all routine and extraordinary maintenance activities for site assets are established, scheduled, and executed on time and in full. The objective is to maintain asset health to support safe operations, food safety, quality, compliance, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans incorporating routine and extraordinary activities to ensure asset reliability, minimize downtime, and integrate Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) plans into the Asset Maintenance Management (AMM) system.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance planning process, including prioritizing tasks, scheduling maintenance shutdowns alongside production teams, reviewing work order execution, and coordinating third-party service providers and technical store teams for efficient maintenance operations.
  • Track and monitor maintenance execution to ensure adherence to plans, addressing any delays or deviations promptly while ensuring compliance with AMM standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvements by reviewing and optimizing maintenance routines and plans within the AMM system.
  • Facilitate deployment and governance of Maintenance Excellence Packages (MEP) to align asset performance and costs with expected benefits, sharing insights within the category network.
  • Develop and implement digital maintenance optimization initiatives, including predictive maintenance integration, real-time monitoring, use of mobile AMM applications, and other relevant digital tools.
  • Analyze lifecycle costs of maintenance activities, identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining asset performance, and manage maintenance budgets in collaboration with finance and procurement.
  • Support startup preparations for new lines by coordinating maintenance plans, resources, and established routines for CAPEX projects and new assets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Asset Maintenance Management systems.
  • Strong expertise in maintenance best practices, reliability-centered maintenance, and asset management.
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and other relevant software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with TPM PM Pillar methodology and governance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institute.
