Logistics Analyst

Overview

A fixed-term contract opportunity is available for a Logistics Data Analyst to support delivery operations and product teams in the UK and Ireland for a leading global online delivery platform. The role centers on leveraging data analytics to drive enhancements in delivery processes, pinpoint performance challenges, and elevate the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and initiatives aimed at refining delivery operations and improving customer satisfaction.
• Analyze data to detect operational trends, identify performance bottlenecks, and uncover improvement prospects.
• Integrate multiple data sources, both internal and external, to extract valuable business insights.
• Assist in optimizing business workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Operations, Product, Customer Care, Business Intelligence, Account Management, and delivery partners.
• Evaluate delivery performance metrics and establish consistent measurement and reporting practices within the organization.
• Investigate issues with orders, determine underlying causes, and formulate strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Present analysis results and recommendations clearly to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a data-driven or analytical role.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Skilled in preparing, organizing, analyzing, and accurately presenting large datasets.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and data extraction techniques.
• Capability to address complex and ambiguous business challenges methodically.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with Google BigQuery and Google Sheets is preferred.
• Experience using Tableau or comparable data visualization platforms is a plus.
