Job description
Job Overview
The Laundry Personnel will be responsible for washing and drying linens and residents' garments. They will ensure that all cleaned linens are swiftly returned to the designated storage areas. Additionally, they must ensure residents' clothing is promptly returned to the appropriate owners, correctly labeled, and report any losses or damages encountered. The role also includes maintaining accurate inventories of linens and laundry supplies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably possess a High School diploma.
- Prior experience in laundry services is beneficial but not mandatory.
- On-the-job training and supervision will be provided.
- Must understand standard laundry processes related to patient garments, linens, and the handling of equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn, cooperate, and work under supervision.
- Ability to collaborate well with coworkers.
