Janitor / Utility Worker - Premium Services

About the Role

Civeo Premium Services at the Tse Zul Camp in Faro, Yukon seeks a committed Janitor/Utility Worker. The chosen individual will uphold the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the facility, guaranteeing a secure, pleasant, and inviting space for both guests and staff members. This role offers a balanced work-life schedule with a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation, competitive pay, and the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly wage of $21.30
• Work schedule comprises 10-hour shifts
• Estimated gross monthly earnings up to $3,400 before deductions, subject to hours worked and payroll cycles
• Paid travel provided from Edmonton (YEG), Calgary (YYC), and Vancouver (YVR)
• Comprehensive benefits including dental, vision, life insurance, and extended health coverage

Key Duties

• Perform snow removal and upkeep of designated areas
• Eliminate debris and maintain cleanliness across the site and surroundings
• Ensure hygienic conditions in public and laundry plant workspaces
• Daily cleaning and restocking of washrooms
• Clean breakroom daily by removing trash, wiping surfaces, and sweeping/scrubbing floors
• Empty and clean garbage containers throughout the plant floor
• Transfer collected waste to appropriate outdoor roll-off bins for garbage or cardboard
• Clean washer trough daily, replacing dirty screens with clean ones for subsequent use
• Report any hazards or unsafe situations to management promptly
• Follow safety protocols by adhering to company’s safe work practices and standard operating procedures
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors

Required Qualifications and Physical Abilities

• Prior janitorial experience preferred
• Valid class 5 driver's license with an acceptable 5-year driving record
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Effective organizational and time management capabilities
• Current and valid First Aid certification considered an asset
• Physical capability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and walk for long durations
• Successful completion of a pre-access Drug and Alcohol test is mandatory
