Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and committed IT Engineer to join our technical team responsible for the deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of various IT components such as desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, printers, CCTV, and associated hardware and software.

Key Duties

• Install, configure, and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suites, antivirus tools, and related applications.
• Maintain Windows Server platforms and Active Directory environments.
• Set up and troubleshoot networking hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Administer local and wide area networks, wireless networks, VPN, and ensure network security.
• Install and manage CCTV and IP camera systems.
• Support rack server installations, storage solutions, and backup systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine health assessments of IT systems.
• Offer both onsite and remote technical assistance to clients.
• Coordinate warranty claims and technical support with OEM partners like Lenovo, Dell, HP, Cisco, and Microsoft.
• Prepare and maintain detailed installation and service documentation.
• Oversee data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Ensure adherence to company IT policies and security guidelines.
• Travel to client sites as needed for implementation and support.

Required Expertise

• Strong hardware knowledge and troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server management.
• Good grasp of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Practical experience with networking devices and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Outlook setups.
• Experience with server installation and virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware preferred.
• Understanding of firewall configurations and network security principles.
• Competence in installing and configuring CCTV and IP camera systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and biometric readers.
• Excellent communication ability and strong customer service orientation.
• Capability to operate independently and handle pressure effectively.

Educational and Professional Credentials

Applicants should hold a Diploma, B.Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related disciplines. Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

2 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure support, network/system administration, or field engineering, particularly servicing enterprise, corporate, or government clients. Familiarity with server, networking, and CCTV system installation and upkeep is essential.
