Project Overview
Participate in a pioneering AI initiative aimed at enhancing the accuracy and reliability of next-generation AI systems. As an AI Trainer specializing in IT and cybersecurity consulting, you will engage in data analysis and feedback to improve large language model (LLM) performance.
Role Details
This role is a contract-based expert consultant position within the AI Labor Marketplace, intended for U.S.-based professionals. The involvement is part-time and project-based, conducted remotely. Your contributions will directly support AI safety by creating and reviewing complex, industry-specific scenarios addressing sensitive topics such as sexual content, violence, self-harm, and hate speech. Your expertise will help refine model training by annotating and evaluating challenging cases.
Consultant Terms
This engagement operates on a per-project payment structure with hourly rate estimates provided for guidance. Consultants maintain autonomy over their schedules and tools, and may offer services concurrently to other clients, depending on respective agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create realistic, detailed scenarios relevant to IT and cybersecurity domains.
- Assess AI-generated outputs and model predictions critically.
- Detect subtle safety and compliance edge cases involving risks and policy nuances.
- Follow annotation protocols and apply structured metadata consistently.
- Record classification decisions with clear supporting explanations.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and authenticity in submitted work.
- Provide expert input to improve safety classification models.
Expected Deliverables
- High-fidelity, domain-specific safety examples.
- Comprehensive annotations and metadata tagging.
- Precise classification of sensitive safety-related content.
- Well-justified documentation for difficult or borderline classifications.
- Strict compliance with project standards and quality benchmarks.
Candidate Profile
- At least 10 to 15 years of experience in IT consulting, cybersecurity consulting, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), enterprise risk management, or incident response advisory.
- Proven leadership in consulting engagements at reputable advisory firms.
- Typical roles include Principal Consultant, Senior Risk & Compliance Lead, Cybersecurity Practice Lead, Senior Risk Advisory Manager, or Incident Response Director.
- Excellent written communication and strong analytical capabilities.
- Skillful in evaluating complex, ambiguous scenarios with professional judgment.
- Must be a U.S.-based professional.
