IT Auditor and Data Analyst

Job Overview

We seek a seasoned IT Auditor & Data Analyst based in Ajman, UAE, to perform risk-based IT audits and assess the strength of technology and cybersecurity controls. The role involves using data analytics to detect risks and optimize business workflows, with a thorough grasp of IT governance, ERP systems, information security, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and carry out risk-focused IT audit projects.
• Evaluate IT General Controls (ITGC), application control systems, cybersecurity measures, and information security frameworks.
• Perform IT risk evaluations and suggest improvements for controls.
• Audit various ERP systems, including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Banner SIS, and Workday.
• Use data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or Tableau to support audits and detect patterns.
• Compile audit reports, communicate findings, and monitor resolution of issues uncovered.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, security policies, and regulatory directives.
• Liaise closely with IT and business teams to enhance internal controls and risk oversight.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a relevant discipline.
• Mandatory Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
• At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in IT auditing.
• Prior work exposure in the UAE market is essential.
• Expert knowledge of IT risk assessments, IT general and application controls, cybersecurity auditing, and information security.
• Hands-on auditing experience with ERP platforms like Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Banner SIS, or Workday.
• Competence with data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 27001 certification or familiarity with its standards.
• Additional professional certifications such as CIA, CRISC, or CISSP.
• Experience gained in government, banking, or Big Four auditing environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The monthly salary ranges from AED 20,000 to AED 24,000, complemented by family benefits.
