XPL Solutions is a prominent local provider of innovative logistics solutions serving both multinational and Saudi-based companies. The company played a crucial role during the Covid-19 pandemic by developing rapid and adaptable logistical responses within the kingdom.

Job Purpose

This role entails leading and overseeing the entire medical warehouse inventory operations to ensure the physical stock aligns accurately with the client's system records (specifically NUPCO). Responsibilities include validating stock receipt and issuance activities for quality and quantity consistency, and supervising stock movement processes such as receiving, issuing, and destruction. Daily cycle stock auditing is also part of the role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement monthly, weekly, and daily cycle count stock verification plans.
  • Conduct daily checks on incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Physically audit items to confirm that actual inventory matches system reports.
  • Distribute physical stock reports to relevant inventory personnel.
  • Identify and analyze discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Manage batch tracking to ensure expiry dates are correctly logged in the system.
  • Collaborate with operation managers and clients to resolve stock variances.
  • Prepare and issue reports on stock variations.
  • Validate and catalog non-moving stock upon request.
  • Determine and assign pin locations within the warehouse racks.
  • Monitor stock discrepancies until they are reconciled in client systems.
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with quality standards and Warehouse Management System (WMS) requirements.
  • Oversee expiry stock validation and direct warehouse staff to relocate expired goods appropriately.
  • Supervise the destruction process for expired stock.
  • Adhere strictly to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational guidelines.
  • Manage inventory control activities including cycle counts, returned goods handling, recalls, counterfeit product management, product traceability, preservation, and quarantine procedures.

General Knowledge and Other Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with medical items and NUPCO suppliers within warehouse settings.
  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, analytical thinker with advanced proficiency in Excel.

Communication Skills

  • Proficient in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Active learner with capability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments.

Leadership Qualities

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, leading by example.
  • Capable of receiving feedback constructively and maintaining composure under pressure.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field.
  • Practical experience in inventory or stock management with emphasis on planning.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and communication.
