Role Overview

This position involves leveraging insurance industry expertise to assist AI systems by structuring real-world insurance workflows into defined tasks. The role focuses on reviewing and validating AI outputs across multiple insurance domains such as claims, underwriting, policy management, and risk evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert practical insurance processes into structured tasks suitable for AI applications.
• Assess AI-generated results ensuring accuracy, logical consistency, and domain relevance.
• Engage with use cases including claims evaluation, underwriting assessment, policy handling, and risk review.
• Analyze various data sources like claims records, policy documentation, and risk assessments to detect trends and potential issues.
• Thoroughly document assumptions, reasoning pathways, and decisions made.
• Provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing AI system performance and output quality.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive background in insurance operations encompassing claims management, underwriting, policy administration, subrogation, or risk analysis.
• At least three areas of expertise among claims adjudication, underwriting, policy handling, subrogation, and risk evaluation.
• Between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, with some flexibility for exceptional candidates.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with effective communication skills.

Work Style and Expectations

• The role operates predominantly asynchronously to afford flexible scheduling.
• Minimal meetings are expected, usually limited to optional office hours once or twice weekly.
• Daily collaboration occurs through Slack and proprietary tools.
• Candidates must consistently engage and proactively communicate their progress.

• Compensation: $100 - 125 USD per hour
• Estimated weekly commitment: Minimum 10 hours, with a preference for 20+ hours
