Role Overview
This position is for an Insights Analyst specializing in Mobile Analytics, based in the United States, supporting the evolution of a cutting-edge, audience-centered digital experience. The role emphasizes leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven insights to guide product teams in understanding user behavior, enhancing engagement, and optimizing digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive measurement strategies for digital platforms, including implementation oversight and accuracy verification of analytics tags.
- Utilize SQL to query and analyze data from mobile apps, video platforms, and websites to uncover performance trends.
- Create dashboards, reports, and self-serve analytics tools to support product analytics initiatives and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to design and refine analytics tools and infrastructure that align with evolving business demands.
- Identify and address data quality problems, improve reporting workflows, and optimize scheduled query processes.
- Document best practices for analytics tracking, reporting standards, and data utilization across digital products.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with product and stakeholder teams to understand priorities and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with SQL, databases, and data analytics tools.
- Proficient with BigQuery, Dataform, or comparable data processing solutions.
- Deep knowledge of mobile analytics systems, particularly Google Firebase and app analytics platforms.
- Experience handling GA4 or similar large-scale digital behavior datasets.
- Skilled in creating measurement plans and validating analytics through Google Tag Manager.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Strong understanding of the full lifecycle of digital data tracking — from tagging and collection to analysis and insights generation.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams to build analytics solutions.
- Capable of managing priorities independently in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, curiosity, and passion for leveraging data to enhance digital products and user experiences.
- Preferred experience includes media, journalism, audience analytics, or statistical modeling with Python or R.
