Role Overview
This position is offered through a partner company and is based in the United States. The Implementation Manager for Client Success will drive effective client onboarding within an innovative healthcare technology setting. The role involves leading complex onboarding projects, collaborating across departments, and ensuring smooth client transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire onboarding journey for new clients, facilitating the handoff from sales through to implementation completion.
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements, configure solutions, and align implementation goals with their business needs.
- Act as the central communication contact during implementations, resolving issues and strengthening client relationships.
- Create and update comprehensive implementation plans detailing scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate data integrations with internal teams and external vendors to enable successful project launches.
- Collaborate with various teams—including Client Success, Sales, Engineering, Product, and Support—to ensure a unified client experience.
- Document client configurations, workflow customizations, and implementation procedures accurately.
- Delegate project tasks, supervise progress, organize team meetings, and keep stakeholders regularly informed.
- Identify potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and modify project plans to address challenges.
- Ensure the quality of execution and alignment of deliverables with project objectives and client expectations.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations, assist with client reporting, and seek opportunities for ongoing enhancement.
- Stay updated on healthcare industry trends and advise clients and internal teams on relevant changes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the benefits sector, ideally with medical PBM expertise.
- Knowledge of claims processing, formulary management, rebate programs, benefit configurations, eligibility procedures, and testing.
- Experience managing implementations involving TPAs, brokers, consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Strong project management capabilities, capable of overseeing multiple clients and initiatives concurrently.
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage deadlines, processes, and detailed project needs.
- Customer-centered approach focused on delivering outstanding service and fostering reliable partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions for complex implementation challenges.
- Creativity in adapting solutions for unique client benefit structures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to perform effectively in dynamic, high-volume, and fast-evolving environments.
- Proactive ownership with clear prioritization and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as job demands.
