Role overview
Credence is hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator for its McLean, Virginia office. This is an onsite position that typically requires being in the office four to five days each week. The role is suited to someone organized, self-driven, and interested in building a long-term career in human resources.
Success in this role depends on strong multitasking ability, solid organizational habits, highly accurate data entry, and careful recordkeeping. The person in this position must be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where employee records and HR data must remain complete and precise.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the HR team to support employees across the organization.
- Handle employee questions and employment verification requests promptly and professionally.
- Help prepare and issue offer letters for candidates.
- Support onboarding tasks for newly hired employees.
- Assist with weekly new-hire orientation sessions.
- Use HRIS, SharePoint, Workable, and Costpoint to keep employee information accurate and up to date.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in human resources is required.
- Strong customer-service orientation is necessary.
- An energetic, approachable, and engaging personality is expected.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills are required.
- The ability to manage confidential information and sensitive records is essential.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting is needed.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Work environment
- This role may involve occasional travel for company events, onboarding or job fairs, and customer meetings.
- The position may require occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 10 to 20 pounds.
- Work location is McLean, Virginia.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. Final pay will depend on the selected candidate’s experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
