About the Role
This position is available through a partner company seeking a Human Resources Business Partner Manager located in the United States. The role provides a strategic HR advisory service supporting manufacturing and operations leadership across various sites. Operating remotely, you will influence people strategies that enhance organizational performance, employee engagement, and overall business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with leaders in manufacturing and operations to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Offer expert advice on organizational design, workforce and succession planning, as well as change management efforts.
- Collaborate with other HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Benefits to ensure a cohesive employee lifecycle experience.
- Utilize workforce analytics and HR metrics to uncover trends and develop actionable insights.
- Engage in business reviews and planning to align HR initiatives with operational priorities.
- Handle complex employee relations issues including investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Coach managers and executives on policies, leadership tactics, and employee engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and HR best practices to mitigate organizational risk.
- Support multiple operational units and manufacturing sites while fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Between 5 and 7 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting manufacturing, operations, distribution, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record managing sensitive employee relations investigations and workplace issues.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and compliance standards.
- Strong skills in coaching leadership from frontline to senior levels.
- Experience facilitating organizational change, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Ability to effectively manage priorities across multiple locations in a remote working context.
- Excellent analytical, communication, conflict resolution, and relationship management capabilities.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as UKG, Workday, or equivalents.
- Expertise in strategic HR partnership, leadership mentoring, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
