About the Role
This position is for a meticulous and well-organized HR Administrator to handle everyday human resources support within Bartawi General Contracting in Dubai. The role focuses on keeping employee information accurate, assisting with hiring and onboarding, coordinating HR workflows, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently, confidentially, and in line with UAE labor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep employee records, HR systems, and personnel files current and well maintained.
- Draft and issue HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, salary certificates, NOCs, and similar records.
- Manage the employee joining and exit processes from an administrative standpoint.
- Support recruitment efforts by arranging interviews and staying in touch with candidates.
- Track attendance, leave balances, and probation timelines.
- Help prepare payroll inputs by ensuring employee data is correct and coordinating with the Finance team.
- Arrange visa, medical insurance, and related documentation tasks with the PRO and other concerned teams.
- Ensure HR activities align with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
- Update organizational charts, staff lists, and HR reporting documents.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, training coordination, and performance review administration.
- Respond to HR-related queries in a professional manner while protecting sensitive information.
- Contribute to improvements in HR procedures, policies, and administrative systems.
- Carry out additional HR administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in HR administration, ideally gained in the UAE.
- Solid understanding of UAE Labour Law and standard HR practices.
- Hands-on experience with HR software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Strong planning, coordination, and time-management abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion when handling information.
- Comfortable managing several tasks at once in a busy, deadline-driven setting.
