Position Overview
As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding employees and management through every phase of the employee lifecycle in a distributed, international setting. This position emphasizes compliance with diverse employment laws and a strategic approach to HR functions. You will serve as a resource for both operational and sensitive HR issues while spearheading initiatives that shape a cohesive and motivated workforce globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and separation processes for employees across various regions.
- Ensure all HR practices meet local and international legal standards, updating policies as required for compliance.
- Lead on implementation and ongoing administration of HR management systems to optimize efficiency.
- Facilitate and support thorough performance evaluation cycles, coaching both staff and leadership.
- Discreetly resolve employee relations concerns and advise on conflict management.
- Draft, review, and revise company HR policies to align with evolving best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on talent attraction, retention, and professional growth strategies.
- Keep detailed, accurate records and prepare regular reports on HR metrics for organizational planning.
- Champion a positive, inclusive company culture that promotes engagement and diversity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field; certifications in HR are advantageous.
- Demonstrable background in human resource management, ideally within a technology-driven or international workplace.
- Strong grasp of multifaceted employment legislations relevant to different countries.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to handle confidential issues tactfully.
- Prior experience deploying and administrating HR information systems.
- Capable of thriving independently as well as working collaboratively in fast-paced, decentralized settings.
- Fluency in English; additional language ability is a benefit.
