About the Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at a leading international hotel in Munich, you will lead a committed team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property, including guest rooms, VIP areas, and common spaces. Your role blends operational coordination, quality inspections, team training, and close collaboration with various hotel departments to uphold an exceptional hospitality experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and uphold quality benchmarks for guest rooms, VIP zones, and public spaces within the hotel.
- Manage daily operations alongside housekeeping partners and service providers.
- Regularly inspect cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
- Document and follow through on maintenance work requests and manage lost-and-found items efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and Management teams for seamless operations.
- Handle administrative duties within the Housekeeping Office to support department workflow.
- Train, onboard, and mentor newly recruited team members and apprentices.
Requirements
- Initial experience in housekeeping or formal hospitality training is essential.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in both German and English to thrive in an international hotel environment.
- Solid organizational capabilities combined with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- A cooperative team spirit and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
