Role Overview

As a Housekeeper, you will maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of hotel rooms and the building to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for guests, employees, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms including tubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
• Follow specified cleaning procedures and safe usage of cleaning products.
• Change bed linens and make beds, which may involve lifting bedspreads up to 50 pounds.
• Thoroughly dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
• Operate vacuums throughout rooms and empty trash receptacles.
• Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies.
• Manage room keys, transport them to designated rooms, restock housekeeping carts, and visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and readiness.
• Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Physical ability to scrub and clean various surfaces, reach overhead, and work in tight spaces.
• A cooperative attitude willing to assist coworkers and work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment, with or without accommodations.
• Capability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without accommodations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
