About the Role
JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Hot Shot Drivers for full-time roles in the Washington County area, specifically Aliquippa, PA. This position offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate medium-duty trucks equipped with specialized trailers to transport equipment, less-than-truckload freight, and materials to both company and client job locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and DOT regulations while driving and performing operational duties.
- Secure loads properly to avoid any damage or breakage, complying with DOT rules and internal safety standards.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and the Trucking Manager as necessary.
- Supervise the loading and unloading processes to protect cargo integrity.
- Report any maintenance needs or necessary repairs to the Trucking Manager and Mechanics promptly.
- Keep detailed and accurate delivery and driving records in accordance with DOT guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a valid/current DOT physical or the willingness to obtain one (provided by the company).
- Minimum of two years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) without violations.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and MVR review.
- Valid driver's license required; a CDL Class A license is considered an advantage.
