Role Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers to join their team in Manchester. This role involves delivering grocery shopping to customers, ensuring the orders arrive in excellent condition, and representing the company with outstanding customer service. The position requires a proactive and independent individual who enjoys being active and engaging with people on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans following proper safety procedures, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving standards and practices.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is roadworthy and safe.
• Deliver food orders while maintaining product quality for customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service during interactions.
• Assist in-store when needed.
• Manage working time efficiently and work independently.
• Flexibly work various shift patterns, typically between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a full driving license for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Demonstrates a positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering a high-quality customer experience.
• Reliable and punctual, able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong knowledge and commitment to road safety principles.
