Home Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. This role involves delivering groceries to customers, ensuring excellent service and efficient time management, while representing our company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to proper van loading procedures including managing heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
• Maintain safe driving practices at all times on the road.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure vans are roadworthy.
• Deliver groceries ensuring food products arrive in optimal condition to customers.
• Provide friendly and effective customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with tasks in store as required to support colleagues.
• Work independently and organize daily tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shift patterns ranging from 6am to 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid full driving license held for a minimum of three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Show a positive, approachable, and dedicated attitude towards delivering outstanding customer service.
• Be reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding and strong commitment to road safety protocols.
