Position Summary

This is a full-time, on-location role based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia for a Heavy Truck Driver. The primary responsibility is the safe and efficient operation of heavy trucks to transport goods between assigned locations. Responsibilities include route planning, vehicle inspections before and after trips, cargo loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The role requires compliance with traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies, alongside engaging in routine vehicle maintenance checks and timely communication with dispatch and supervisory teams to support punctual deliveries.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Proficient in driving heavy trucks safely, including maneuvering in diverse conditions and strict adherence to traffic and safety regulations.
• Skilled in planning routes, navigating efficiently, and managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
• Experienced in cargo handling, ensuring safe loading/unloading, securing materials, and verifying delivery paperwork.
• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle inspection and maintenance, including checking brakes, tires, and lights, with prompt reporting of mechanical concerns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for coordination with dispatch, supervisors, and clients, along with maintaining clear delivery records.
• Holds a valid heavy truck driving license with a clean record and relevant professional driving experience.
• Willing to work on-site in Dammam, adaptable to varying work schedules, and compliant with local labor and safety regulations.
• Previous heavy truck driving experience in logistics, construction, or related sectors is preferred.
