Head of Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Head of Operations to spearhead all operational aspects of our organization. This senior leadership role involves crafting and implementing operational strategies that align with our company's vision and growth objectives, improving business processes, enhancing efficiency, managing cross-departmental teams, and guaranteeing operational excellence throughout the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies consistent with organizational goals and growth plans.
• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity, and exceptional service delivery.
• Create, execute, and refine operational workflows, processes, and performance benchmarks.
• Track operational KPIs and metrics, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead initiatives aimed at operational excellence, including process improvements, automation, and cost reduction efforts.
• Work closely with department heads to synchronize operational activities with company objectives and customer expectations.
• Oversee resource management, workforce distribution, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
• Identify operational risks and devise mitigation plans to maintain business continuity.
• Guide organizational change, transformation, and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, quality controls, and operational compliance.
• Mentor managers and operational teams to cultivate accountability and high performance culture.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business expansion, and the exploration of new opportunities.
• Prepare detailed operational reports and performance reviews for senior management and stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, business leadership, supply chain, logistics, or similar senior roles.
• Profound knowledge of operational strategies, process optimization, and managing organizational performance.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and handle large-scale operations effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Familiarity with business systems such as ERP, data analytics platforms, and operational reporting tools.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, growth-driven environments.
• High level of commercial insight and strategic business understanding.
• Educational background preferably includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related disciplines. An MBA or advanced leadership qualifications is an advantage.
