About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Handyworker to join Royal York Property Management in Fort Lauderdale, USA, and nearby areas. This position involves managing maintenance operations and providing high-quality handywork services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling diverse maintenance tasks and coordinating service calls efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities and promptly handle work orders.
• Perform initial job evaluations, capture photographic documentation, and upload them to work orders.
• Deliver and install specific items such as fire extinguishers, lock boxes, and real estate signs related to Royal York Property Management.
• Create new work orders when necessary and compile comprehensive reports for the Maintenance Department.
• Complete various tasks including key duplication, door closer installation, lock replacements, TV mounting, among others.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a comparable maintenance or handyworker role.
• Hold a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle capable of transporting items at least 4 feet by 4 feet in size.
• Proficient in using hardware tools and power equipment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Ownership of an iPhone is required for job communications.
• Possess attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
