Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is a Denver-based American sports and entertainment holding company. KSE operates several venues and teams including Ball Arena, DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, Paramount Theatre, Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), and others. KSE is dedicated to delivering top-tier experiences for live and broadcast spectators.
Position Overview
The Guest Relations Representative role supports KSE’s Guest Experience department by ensuring an exceptional level of service for guests across events. The representative primarily engages with visitors to provide guidance, assistance, and positive interaction in various KSE venues. Initial training is conducted at Ball Arena, with opportunities to work at additional venues such as DICK’S Sporting Goods Park and Paramount Theatre following orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly and courteously at events
- Assist guests with locating seating, concessions, ATMs, restrooms, smoking areas, and other venue features
- Distribute promotional giveaways and manage guest relocations, including ADA seating accommodations
- Escort guests in wheelchairs and roam event areas to provide continuous support
- Handle guest concerns, escalating issues appropriately to supervisors or managers
- Maintain collaborative and professional relationships with venue partners and internal teams
- Communicate efficiently using radios
- Recover lost and found items during and immediately after events
- Scan tickets at Paramount Theatre entry
- Occasionally manage kiosk stations
- Comply with all organizational policies and participate in mandatory training sessions
- Contribute to special guest moments such as birthdays or anniversaries through the Memorable Moments program
- Adopt a flexible schedule, including working evenings, weekends, holidays, and playoffs with a minimum shift of 3 hours
- Perform any other assigned duties that support event success and guest satisfaction
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods over solid and outdoor surfaces, including stairs
- Work occurs indoors and outdoors with variable weather conditions
- Handle moderate to loud noises and lighting typical of event environments
- Comfortable working nontraditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to safely push wheelchairs as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: high school diploma or GED
- Energetic, positive attitude with strong interpersonal and team-focused approach
- Preferred: one or more years of guest relations or customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer and email proficiency to manage scheduling and communication
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism representing the company and department
- Willingness to follow a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and playoff events
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $22.00
- Access to 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions
