About the Role
This hands-on Growth Marketer position is designed to be the driving force behind the company's growth efforts, focused on boosting user acquisition and engagement metrics. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role involves direct management of advertising campaigns, lifecycle marketing, SEO, data tracking, and experimentation. The work environment requires being onsite in Franklin, TN from Monday to Thursday and working remotely on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and retargeting platforms by creating campaigns, generating initial copy, allocating budgets, and discontinuing ineffective ads.
- Take full ownership of the conversion loop from recipients to senders by monitoring and improving redemption page and gesture email conversion rates continuously every sprint.
- Develop and implement customer lifecycle marketing strategies including onboarding sequences, triggered educational content, and win-back flows directly within HubSpot.
- Conduct SEO and organic growth efforts by performing keyword research, preparing page briefs, applying on-page SEO improvements, and collaborating on content development while owning organic traffic goals.
- Set up comprehensive tracking before launching initiatives, extract and analyze data, build dashboards, and present core metrics regularly to the team.
- Design, execute, evaluate, and document experiments to validate marketing hypotheses and discontinue underperforming efforts.
Ownership Areas
- Acquisition funnel management from initial signup to first send activity.
- Channel-specific Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and payback analysis.
- Organic traffic acquisition and qualified signup generation.
Success Criteria
- Within 6 months, develop efficient paid campaigns with transparent measurement dashboards and improving growth metrics.
- Within 12 months, reduce acquisition costs, increase conversion of recipients to senders, and optimize channel funding by discontinuing ineffective ones.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of direct personal experience in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in product-led or marketplace companies—not merely managing teams.
- Hands-on skills with paid advertising platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, and Google; CRM/lifecycle marketing tools such as HubSpot; and product/web analytics tools including Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
- Documented success driving organic traffic growth and SEO improvements using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
- Strong discipline for setting up proper tracking before campaign launches and retiring underperforming campaigns.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI technologies daily for accelerating testing, data modeling, copywriting, and targeted outreach, using tools such as Claude and Clay.
Preferred Bonus Skills
- Experience implementing Product Qualified Lead (PQL) strategies.
- Familiarity with self-serve to enterprise sales motion.
- Utilization of intent data platforms like 6sense in real-time routing scenarios.
Who Should Not Apply
- Those seeking primarily management roles or strategic oversight without hands-on execution.
- Candidates desiring fully remote work rather than hybrid on-site requirements.
- Professionals who have not recently engaged directly in active ad accounts or query editors.
Benefits and Work Environment
- Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance largely covered by the employer.
- 401(k) plan with employer matching.
- Monthly stipends for cellphone and internet expenses.
- A structured in-office work schedule from Monday through Thursday with Friday remote days.
- Generous paid time off: 20 PTO days, company-observed holidays, and maternity leave.
- Employer-provided life insurance and long-term disability coverage.
