Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-focused Graphic Designer to become a vital member of our communications and design division. The ideal candidate should possess a robust portfolio and a passion for brand communication, digital design, and visual storytelling. This role involves creating engaging visuals for both online and offline media, facilitating content for social platforms, web, events, and internal branding efforts.

Responsibilities

• Produce top-tier graphics tailored for digital channels such as social media posts, newsletters, presentations, videos, and the official Sahamati website.
• Design marketing materials including brochures, event branding assets, promotional standees, merchandise like T-shirts and mugs, and informative infographics.
• Work collaboratively with marketing, communications, and content teams to visually realize ideas.
• Help develop brand templates and ensure visual consistency across all designs.
• Join brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative concepts for campaigns and awareness programs.
• Edit brief motion graphics and videos using basic animation tools as required.
• Handle multiple concurrent design projects effectively, adhering to deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Between three to five years of professional experience in graphic design or visual communication roles.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of After Effects is advantageous; familiarity with Figma is also valuable.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both digital and printed media design.
• Firm understanding of design fundamentals including layout, typography, color theory, and branding standards.
• Strong communication abilities and aptitude for teamwork.
• Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
• Competent in interpreting briefs and translating them into visually effective designs.

Preferred Experience

• Background in design related to fintech, technology startups, or digital public infrastructure projects.
• Experience collaborating with multifunctional teams involving technology, content creation, and event management.
