About the role

This position is suited to an experienced gardener who enjoys maintaining attractive, healthy outdoor spaces. You will work across several residential facilities, helping to create and preserve welcoming gardens and landscapes that contribute to a calm and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.

Day-to-day work will include planting, watering, and general garden care, with a strong focus on keeping outdoor areas vibrant, tidy, and well maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain gardens and outdoor areas across multiple residential sites.
• Carry out planting, watering, and general landscape upkeep.
• Ensure outdoor spaces remain healthy, tidy, and visually appealing.
• Use gardening tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Work in a detail-focused manner to support high standards of presentation.

About you

The ideal candidate is a practical and conscientious gardener with prior experience in gardening or landscaping. You should care about the quality of your work, take pride in creating attractive spaces, and be comfortable performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying. A careful approach to safety when using tools and equipment is important.

Requirements

• Previous experience in gardening or landscaping.
• Ability to use gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Physical ability to complete manual tasks including bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Current NDIS worker clearance.
• Completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Willingness to meet aged care vaccination expectations in line with current health guidance.
• Availability to work across Fullarton, Glynde, and Hope Valley.
