Forward Deployed Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a pioneering AI company with a $2 billion valuation achieved within 13 months and backed by $286 million in funding. This role is critical to expanding the company's presence in Singapore, working directly with enterprise customers to solve complex operational challenges by embedding advanced AI solutions within their existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze the most challenging operational issues faced by enterprise clients and translate them into measurable technical objectives.
• Transform unclear or imprecise requirements into rigorous engineering blueprints and detailed execution strategies.
• Develop and deploy AI-powered agents that seamlessly integrate with clients' legacy technology infrastructures.
• Manage the full project lifecycle—from initial problem identification, through product launch, to ongoing performance tuning and optimization.
• Ensure high standards of system reliability, low latency, and optimal performance in real-world production environments.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in software engineering, demonstrated through significant project contributions rather than theoretical knowledge.
• Proven expertise in technical problem-solving, spanning both coding and architectural design.
• Strong communication skills to bridge business objectives with engineering efforts, collaborating efficiently with sales and product development teams to scope feasible solutions.
• Self-motivated and decisive, able to navigate ambiguity and independently drive projects to completion.
• Preference for candidates who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments where rapid progress and ownership take precedence over formal titles is advantageous.
